Worth a read. Was at a customer’s house today who has reset her Yahoo password so many times lately due to her email being compromised.

I couldn’t reset her email password online and got in a queue to speak to a BT Yahoo rep online – I was 116th in queue.

Once password reset, backed up all contacts, deleted them, setup a forwarding rule so that all emails would go to her new Gmail account which I setup. Sent email to all customer’s contacts from gmail informing them of change of address.

This has happened to so many with Yahoo or addresses. Over the years we have found Gmail to be more secure as an email address.
